I had been completely out of comics for about a decade, when all of a sudden for no particular reason I picked up Old Man Wolverine. I was once again hooked and started drawing right away. This was the first output. It’s got tons of stuff wrong with it but I was shocked that there was a lot right with it. That time off had changed the way I drew, less wonky and stretched. I was enthused and started looking to get back in. There’s a long way to go stylistically but it’s so much closer to where I want to be.
